Team India 1st match in T20 World Cup 2024

In the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, set to begin on June 1st, Team India is scheduled to play their first match on June 5th against the Ireland cricket team at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. Meanwhile, in the group stage, the Indian team will face their neighboring country and biggest rival, Pakistan, which is scheduled for Sunday, June 9th. This match will also be played at the same venue.

It is known that in this ICC T20 World Cup 2024, not 10 or 12 but a full 20 teams will be seen playing, divided into 4 groups. The Indian team has been placed in Group A, along with Pakistan, the United States, Canada, and Ireland. Each team in the group stage will play one match against every other team in their group, and then the top 2 teams will qualify for the Super 8 stage.
