India squad for last three Tests against England: BCCI has announced the team for the final 3 matches of the series of 5 test matches being played between India and England, and once again Virat Kohli is not included in that team. And not just King Kohli, but the team announced by the board for the last 3 matches does not include Shreyas Iyer, Avesh Khan, and Saurabh Kumar either.
However, due to injuries, KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja, who missed the second test match, have once again entered Team India. So let’s find out which players BCCI has given a chance in Team India for the last 3 test matches.
Team India announced for the last 3 tests against England
The Indian team is currently playing a series of 5 test matches with the English team. Before the start of this series, BCCI had announced the team only for the initial two matches. But now the board has also announced the team for the remaining 3 matches. Virat Kohli is not included in that team due to personal reasons.
Regarding Kohli’s absence, BCCI stated in a press release, ‘Virat Kohli will not be available for selection for the remaining series due to personal reasons. The board fully respects and supports Kohli’s decision.’ Apart from King Kohli, Iyer, Avesh, and Saurabh have also not been given a chance.

Shreyas-Avesh dropped from the team along with Saurabh
It is worth mentioning that there are talks regarding Shreyas Iyer being sidelined due to injury. However, according to the report from ESPNCricinfo, he experienced stiffness in his back one or two days after the second test, but the medical team had cleared him for selection. Despite this, he has been dropped, possibly due to his recent performance in test cricket.
Iyer has scored 35, 13, 27, and 29 runs respectively in the first two matches of the ongoing England Test series. Not only in this series but in the last 13 Test matches, he hasn’t managed to score a 50+ score even once with his bat. Apart from Iyer, Avesh Khan and Saurabh Kumar have also been shown the way out. However, neither of them was part of the playing XI before. But the biggest question in this team revolves around the selection of KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja.
Jadeja and Rahul return to the team
It should be noted that BCCI has once again included Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul in Team India for the last 3 matches. However, they have not yet fully recovered. Both players were injured after the second test. BCCI has indeed included both players in the team, but there is no confirmation regarding their availability for the matches.
Additionally, 27-year-old Akash Deep has also been included in India’s Test team, who recently took part in 2 matches against England Lions and claimed 4, 2, 4, and 1 wickets respectively. Akash Deep has been given an opportunity in place of Avesh.
