Top 6 players with the fastest IPL fifties for SRH ft. Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head: Sunrisers Hyderabad, popularly known as the Orange Army, is known for being a consistent performer in the Indian Premier League. In their first very season, SRH managed to reach the playoffs.

The franchise continued to dish out spectacular performances and went on to lift their first-ever IPL title in 2016. The downfall, however, began when they decided to release their best-ever batsman David Warner ahead of the 2022 Mega Auction.

6. David Warner vs RCB, 2016 IPL- 21 balls 

David Warner enjoyed a phenomenal season with the bat for SRH in the 2016 season. His breathtaking hitting helped SRH lift their first-ever IPL trophy. Warner broke a lot of records that season.

His best knock came in the final of the 2016 season against RCB. Warner helped SRH race off to a powerful start at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. He notched up a half-century off just 21 balls and went on to score 69 off 38 balls.

5. Moises Henriques vs RCB, 2015 IPL- 20 balls

The 52nd match of the IPL 2025 season saw Moises Henriques go all guns blazing against Royal Challengers Bangalore at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. After Warner had provided a scintillating start, Henriques took matters into his own hands and wreaked havoc with the bat. He reached his half-century in just 20 balls before getting out on 57 off 22 balls.

4. David Warner vs KKR, 2017 IPL- 20 balls

Dawid Warner played, arguably, his best knock in the Indian Premier League against Kolkata Knight Riders in the 2017 season. Opening the batting for the team, he tore apart KKR with brutal hitting. Warner raced away to his half-century off just 20 balls and went on to produce a sensational hundred.

He played a match-winning knock of 126 runs in just 59 balls, helping SRH post a mammoth total of 209 runs on the board. SRH won that game by 48 runs.

3. David Warner vs CSK, IPL 2015 – 20 balls

David Warner has played a few outstanding knocks against CSK in the Indian Premier League and his 61-run innings off 28 balls played during the 2015 IPL season is, definitely, one of them.

Batting first, SRH posted a gigantic score of 192 runs in the first innings. David Warner set the foundation with a scintillating 62-run knock. He brought up his half-century in just 20 balls and was awarded Player of the Match award for his performance.

2. Travis Head vs MI, IPL 2024- 18 balls

Australia’s destructive opener, Travis Head made a sensational debut for SRH against Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024 on Wednesday. Head lit up the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium with shots all around the ground.

The southpaw didn’t let MI bowlers settle in and produced a gem of a knock. He raced away to his half-century off just 18 balls and went on to score 62 runs off just 24 balls, striking at 258.33

In the aforementioned game, Abhishek Sharma also made heads turn with a fantastic display of batting. Abhishek Sharma came into bat at three and got going right from the onset of his innings. He produced a flurry of boundaries and scored runs at an astounding strike rate of 273.91.

H wrote his name in the history books by becoming the fastest SRH batter to score a half-century in IPL. He brought up his half-century off just 16 balls and went on to play a sensational knock of 63 off 23 balls.
