5. 54*(26) – David Warner vs DC, Dubai, 2020
David Warner has some of the highest scores in the Powerplay for SRH in the IPL. On October 27, 2020, SRH took on Delhi Capitals at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. DC won the toss and elected to field. Warner opened the innings along with Wriddhiman Saha, and the duo added 107 runs for the first wicket. Warner made 54 runs off just 26 deliveries in the Powerplay.
4. 56*(26) – David Warner vs CSK, Ranchi, 2014
In the 50th match of IPL 2014, SRH took on Chennai Super Kings and elected to bowl after winning the toss. CSK scored 185 runs for the loss of three wickets in 20 overs. Warner and Shikhar Dhawan had a partnership of 116 runs for the first wicket. SRH reached the target of 186 runs with two deliveries to spare. Warner had made 56 runs off just 26 deliveries in the Powerplay.
3. 59*(23) – David Warner vs CSK, Hyderabad, 2015
Warner bettered his record of highest scores in the Powerplay for SRH in the IPL next season against the same opponent, CSK. In the 34th match of the 2015 season, CSK elected to bowl after winning the toss. Warner scored 59 runs off 23 deliveries in the Powerplay. SRH posted a total of 192 runs for the loss of seven wickets and won the match by 22 runs.
2. 59*(20) – Travis Head vs MI, Hyderabad, 2024
Travis Head became the only second batter to make a half-century in the Powerplay for SRH apart from Warner on March 27, 2024. Head opened the innings for SRH along with Mayank Agarwal. He scored 59 runs off 20 deliveries and hit the fastest half-century for SRH in IPL. Abhishek Sharma broke his record in the same match.
1. 62*(25) – David Warner vs KKR, Hyderabad, 2019
Warner holds the record of making the highest scores in the Powerplay for SRH in the IPL. This came against Kolkata Knight Riders in 2019 in the 38th match. Warner made 62 runs off 25 deliveries in the Powerplay. He helped SRH chase down the target of 160 runs in just 15 overs with nine wickets in hand.
