The former Indian captain became the recent entrant on this list of the batters who have hit more than 12000 runs. Kohli has made a total of 12015 runs so far in T20s in 377 matches at an average of 41.14 and a strike rate of 133.36. He has hit eight centuries and 91 half-centuries in T20s.

5. David Warner
The Australian opener has made 12094 runs in 371 matches at an average of 37.09 and a strike rate of 140.17. Warner has hit eight centuries and 101 half-centuries so far in T20s. He has hit 1218 fours and 436 sixes in T20s.
4. Alex Hales
Alex Hales is the fourth-highest run-scorer in T20 cricket. He has scored 12319 runs in 449 matches at an average of 29.68 and a strike rate of 146.39. Hales has made six centuries and 78 half-centuries in T20s so far.
3. Kieron Pollard
Kieron Pollard is just 100 runs short from breaching the 13000 mark. He has made 12900 runs in 660 T20 matches at an average of 31.46 and a strike rate of 150.98. Pollard made his T20 debut in 2006 and had to wait for 12 years and 427 matches to score his first century. The milestone happened during a match between St Lucia Stars and Barbados Tridents in the Caribbean Premier League 2018. He has made 59 half-centuries in T20s.
2. Shoaib Malik
The former Pakistan captain made his T20 debut back in 2005 and has played a total of 542 T20 matches so far. He has scored 13360 runs at an average of 36.40 and a strike rate of 36.40. Malik has made 82 half-centuries but has failed to score a century. His highest score in T20s is an unbeaten 95.
1. Chris Gayle
The Universal Boss dominated T20 cricket like no one else has done ever. He is the only batter who breached the 14000-run mark in T20s. Gayle has scored 14562 runs in 463 T20 matches at an average of 36.22 and a strike rate of 144.75. He has hit 22 centuries and 88 half-centuries.
