In an interview with Dainik Bhaskar, Aniket shared his cricketing idols.
“I want to meet Hardik Pandya and talk to him about fitness, bat flow, and power-hitting. I also want to learn the on-the-rise flick from Virat Kohli, the pull shot from Rohit Sharma, and the flick shot from Rishabh Pant. I would love to ask MS Dhoni about patience and game awareness. Also, I want to learn how Jasprit Bumrah reads batsmen,” he said.
Starc, Kuldeep Shine for Delhi
Despite Aniket’s brilliant knock, Sunrisers Hyderabad were bowled out for 163 in 18.4 overs. Mitchell Starc was the star bowler for Delhi Capitals. He took 5 wickets for 35 runs. Kuldeep Yadav also bowled well, picking up 3 wickets for 22 runs.
Aniket and Heinrich Klaasen (32 off 19) tried to fight back after an early collapse. But Starc struck twice in the 19th over to clean up the tail.
SRH had won the toss and chose to bat first, but their total wasn’t enough against Delhi’s strong bowling attack.
