Deccan Chargers won just two out of 14 matches in the first season of the IPL. One of these wins came against Mumbai Indians on April 27. MI scored 154 runs for the loss of seven wickets while batting first. Adam Gilchrist and VVS Laxman opened the innings for DC and helped the team reach the target of 155 runs in just 12 overs. SRH made 205 runs for the loss of five wickets. PBKS lost their first wicket for just four runs. Manan Vohra and Saha had a partnership of 91 runs for the second wicket.
