6. 129/0 – Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Punjab Kings, Bengaluru, 2016

On May 18, 2016, Royal Challengers Bengaluru took on Punjab Kings in the 50th match of the season. The game was reduced to 15 overs due to rain. Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli opened the innings for RCB and added 129 runs by the end of the 10th over. It became one of the highest scores after 10 overs in IPL for RCB.

5. 130/0 – Deccan Chargers vs Mumbai Indians, Mumbai DYP, 2008

Deccan Chargers won just two out of 14 matches in the first season of the IPL. One of these wins came against Mumbai Indians on April 27. MI scored 154 runs for the loss of seven wickets while batting first. Adam Gilchrist and VVS Laxman opened the innings for DC and helped the team reach the target of 155 runs in just 12 overs. DC had posted a total of 130 runs in 10 overs, and it was the highest score after 10 overs in IPL at that time.

4. 131/3 – Punjab Kings vs Sunrisers Hyderabad, Hyderabad, 2014

Punjab Kings made one of their highest scores after 10 overs in IPL against Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 14, 2014, in the 39th match of the season. PBKS won the toss and elected to bowl. SRH made 205 runs for the loss of five wickets. PBKS lost their first wicket for just four runs. Manan Vohra and Saha had a partnership of 91 runs for the second wicket. Their swashbuckling innings helped PBKS make 131 runs in the first 10 overs of their innings.

3. 131/3 – Mumbai Indians vs Sunrisers Hyderabad, Abu Dhabi, 2021

In the 55th match of the 2021 edition of the IPL, MI elected to bat after winning the toss against SRH. The trio of Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, and Hardik Pandya added 131 runs in the first 10 overs for the team.

2. 141/2 – Mumbai Indians vs Sunrisers Hyderabad, Hyderabad, 2024

In the 8th match of IPL 2024, MI conceded the highest total in IPL’s history against SRH. In reply, MI’s batters made 141 runs in the first 10 overs. Rohit and  Ishan were again a part of this historical outing for MI. They were joined by Naman Dhir and Tilak Varma this time.

1. 148/2 – Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Mumbai Indians,  Hyderabad, 2024

MI won the toss in the 8th match of IPL 2024 and elected to bowl. SRH lost the wicket of Mayank Agarwal in the fifth over. Abhishek Sharma joined Travis Head in the middle after Mayank’s dismissal. They helped SRH make 81 runs in the Powerplay. At the end of the 10th over, SRH had scored 148 runs for the loss of two wickets, the highest score after 10 overs in IPL.
