Singapore vs Bahrain: Singapore’s batting lineup put up a great show against Bahrain’s strong bowling attack as the hosts smashed 144 runs at the loss of 8 wickets by the end of 20 overs.
Notably, Singapore is currently clashing against Bahrain for their fourth T20I match of the Bahrain’s tour of Singapore at the Singapore National Cricket Ground.
After winning the toss, the host’s skipper Manpreet Singh opeted bat first aiming to put a high total on the board. Singapore’s opening batsman Aritra Dutta scored a quick 45 off 36 balls alongside Rohan Rangarajan, who scored 31 off 27.
Bahrain’s bowling attack found it difficult to pick wickets and registered their first scalp in the 11th over. Following the first dismissal, Singapore lost momentum and ended up losing back-to-back wickets which put the host side under pressure.
