New Zealand star opening batter Rachin Ravindra has smashed his 5th ODI century during the team’s high voltage clash against South Africa in the second semi-final match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
In the match, New Zealand won the toss and opted to bat first. After losing their opening bat Will Young at 21 (23), Rachin Ravindra and Kane Williamson handled the innings well.
With a well paced innings, Rachin Ravindra played a balanced knock and scored 108 off 101 balls at a strike rate of 106.93. His innings was powered by 13 boundaries and a towering six before he was dismissed by Kagiso Rabada in 33.3 overs.
With his knock, Rachin Ravindra became the second batsman to take the least innings to score 5 ODI hundreds for New Zealand. He is only behind Devon Conway who took only 22 innings to achieve the unique milestone.

At 25 years and 107 days old, Rachin is the second-youngest New Zealand batter to reach five ODI centuries, trailing only Kane Williamson, who achieved the feat at 24 years and 165 days.
