Priyansh Arya dominated PBKS’ innings and scored a century. He finished with 103 runs off 42 deliveries. Shashank Singh played an unbeaten knock of 52 runs off 36 deliveries, while Marco Jansen remained not out on 34 runs off 19 deliveries.

PBKS finished with 219 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. Khaleel Ahmed and Ravichandran Ashwin took two wickets each for CSK.

Second Innings: CSK failed to chase down the target

Rachin Ravindra and Devon Conway provided a solid start to CSK and added 61 runs for the first wicket. Ravindra was first to get dismissed and scored 36 runs off 23 deliveries. Ruturaj Gaikwad was dismissed for one run.

Conway and Shivam Dube added 89 runs for the third wicket. Dube scored 42 runs off 27 deliveries before getting dismissed in the 16th over. Conway had to retire hurt in the 18th over. MS Dhoni made 27 runs off 12 deliveries but couldn’t finish the game. CSK scored 201 runs for the loss of five wickets and lost the match by 18 runs.
