Mumbai Indians faced (MI-W) Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women (RCB-W) in the 20th match of the Women’s Premier League 2025 on Tuesday, March 11, at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. Sabbhineni Meghana and Smriti Mandhana added 41 runs for the first wicket, and RCB-W collected 53 runs in the power play. Mandhana scored 53 runs off just 37 deliveries. Ellyse Perry continued her dream run this season and played an unbeaten knock of 49 runs off 38 deliveries.
Richa Ghosh (36 runs off 22 deliveries) and Georgia Wareham (31 runs off 10 deliveries) helped RCB-W post a total of 199 runs for the loss of three wickets in 20 overs. Hayley Matthews was the pick of the bowlers and took two wickets for 37 runs in four overs.
Second Innings:
MI-W didn’t have a decent start to their chase and lost two wickets in the power play. Nat Sciver-Brunt played the role of a lone warrior as she amassed 69 runs off 35 deliveries. No other batter managed to score more than 25 runs for MI-W.
MI-W required 28 runs off the last over, which was bowled by Perry. She gave away 16 runs and helped RCB-W finish the season on a high. Sneh Rana bowled an economical spell and took three wickets for 26 runs in four overs.

MI-W lost the match by 11 runs. It was their first loss at the Brabourne Stadium in six games. This loss meant MI-W finished in second place and will now face Gujarat Giants in the eliminator match on Thursday. Delhi Capitals Women have finished in first place and qualified for the final. It will be their third appearance in the final on the trot.
