IND vs AUS: India’s bowling lineup gave a stunning performance against Australia’s lethal batting attack as the Kangaroos registered 264 at the end of 49.3 overs of the 1st innings of their match in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Notably, India is currently locking horns against Australia for their first semi-final match of the Champions Trophy 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
After winning the toss, the Kangaroos skipper Steve Smith opted to bat first. Australia’s opener Cooper Connolly got dismissed cheaply, however, Travis Head attempted his level best to shift the momentum towards his team by smashing five boundaries and two huge sixes in his knock of 39 off 33 balls.
Later Australia’s veteran bat Steve Smith joined Travis’ onslaught and smashed a well paced 73 off 96, including four boundaries and a six.

Alex Carey’s attacking knock of 61 off 57 balls helped the Men in Yellow post a target of 264. As the Men in Blue aim to continue their winning streak in the tournament, they will need to chase the target with an impressive performance.
The Indian star pacer Mohammed Shami picked a 3 wicket haul to dismantle the Australian team, while Ravindra Jadeja and Varun Chakravarthy picked two wickets each.
