Chhattisgarh Warriors (CW) faced Rajasthan Kings (RK) in the final of Legend 90, 2025 on Monday, February 17, at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. The Warriors chased down the target of 160 runs on the last delivery of their innings and won the match by two wickets.
Asad Pathan and Phil Mustard provide a solid start to Rajasthan Kings
Asad Pathan and Phil Mustard opened the innings for the Kings. They added 76 runs for the first wicket in 6.5 overs. Pathan was the first to get dismissed and scored 38 runs off 21 deliveries. In the first 10 overs, the team had a total of 105 runs on the board for the loss of two wickets.
In the next two overs, the Kings lost two more wickets and it slowed down the process. In the end, the Kings finished with 159 runs for the loss of four wickets off 90 deliveries. Pawan Negi was the pick of the bowlers for the Warriors and picked two wickets for 31 runs in three overs.

Rishi Dhawan continued his dream run in the tournament
Rishi Dhawan opened the innings for the Warriors alongside Martin Guptill. The Warriors lost their first two wickets for just 13 runs. Dhawan remained in the middle and tried to build a partnership with the batters that followed.
Only two other batters managed to score more than 20 runs for the Warriors. However, Dhawan’s outing helped the Warriors become the inaugural champions. He remained unbeaten on 74 runs off 40 deliveries.
The final match went down the wire and Siddarth Kaul emerged as the hero
The match went down to the last over and the Warriors required 11 runs to win. Dhawan hit fours on the first two deliveries of the over and it included a wide as well. Dhawan took a single on the third delivery.
Ankit Rajpoot who was bowling the last over took two wickets on the next two deliveries. The scores were leveled and the Warriors required one run to win the match on the last delivery. Siddarth Kaul hit a six off the last delivery to take the Warriors home.

Best Batting Peformance in CW vs RK, Final of Legend 90, 2025
Rishi Dhawan continued being the best performer in the final game and made his fourth half-century in the tournament. He remained not-out on 74 runs off 40 deliveries and won the Player of the Match award.
Asad Pathan was the second-highest run-scorer in the match. He made 38 runs off 21 deliveries for the Kings.
Best Bowling Peformance in CW vs RK, Final of Legend 90, 2025
Ankit Rajpoot was the pick of the bowlers for the Kings and took three wickets for 33 runs in four overs. He finished as the leading wicket-taker in the tournament and took 12 wickets in seven games at an average of 18.42.
Pawan Negi was the best bowler for the Warriors and finished with two wickets for 31 runs in three overs.
