BCCI clashed with ICC as soon as BGT was over, controversy turned into battle of prestige,

\

The border today’s test series against yellow yellow is so-so but the border started
during today’s test series. A marriage is such that it is not taking the name of ending
and the controversy related to Team India has been made a question of its credibility by
BCCI and after this controversy, now BCCI’s cricket’s supreme body has gone with ICC.
Both have come face to face. Not only this, due to this controversy, former BCCI boss
and former captain of Team India, Sourav Ganguly may also have to take a break from
his big responsibility in ICC, so what is this controversy and why has it become public?
BCCI and ICC Sourav Ganguly may have to take a break from what responsibility?
During the Border Girls’ Test series, the field prepared for the Indore Test is to be given a
poor rating by the ICC match referee Chris Broad. The question of his credibility has
been raised in the BCCI. But the BCCI has demanded an immediate review against the
decision taken by the ICC match referee.

Not only this, the BCCI has also accused the ICC match referee of hastily rating the
pitch of the Indore Test on the road. The BCCI has formally lodged a protest with the
ICC demanding that an appeal was bound to happen in this case as it seems that the
rating has been given in haste. The decision of the match referee on the pitch came
only a few hours after the end of the Test, which was unusual in such cases by the ICC.
BCCI feels that there is full scope of review in this decision and if possible it can get
below average rating.

Pagal Dot Its result did not come before the first session of its third day’s play and
during the first day’s play itself soil was visible breaking on the page. The match
referee agreed that the pitch at Holkar Stadium in Indore, where there was a lot of help
for the spin bowlers, the conditions were completely peppy for the batsmen.
Although the Australian team won the match by 9 wickets. Let us tell you that after the
poor rating and three demerit points given to the Indore pitch by the match referee, now
there is a threat of suspension at the Indore stadium. According to ICC rules, if the pitch
of the stadium gets five demerit points by the ICC match referee, then the dispute goes
to the stadium for organizing international matches for 1 year. On getting the same 10
demerit points, the ban period becomes 24 months.

Hence the demerit points remain active for the duration of the rolling period of 5 years.
After BCCI’s appeal, now two member team of ICC will re-examine the matter. In this
team, the ICC General Manager and the Chairman of the Cricket Committee review the
decision of the match referee.

But because at this time the chairman of the ICC’s Cricket Committee is Sourav
Ganguly, former Indian captain and BCCI President. Therefore, to avoid conflict of
interest, it is now in Sourav Ganguly’s place to review the matter. ICC official will be
given this responsibility. The thing to see is that if ICC changes its decision on the pitch
of Holkar Stadium after the review, then no one should be surprised because recently
played between England and Pakistan, Pakistan’s Rawalpindi pitch also tested on ICC
Test. The match referee gave the same decision.

But after the report of the Pakistan Cricket Board, the ICC committee later changed its
decision regarding the pitch.
