BCCI Announces Cash Price ₹58 Crore Reward for Team India After ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Win : The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a cash reward of ₹58 crore for Team India. This reward celebrates their victory in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The amount will be given to players, coaches, support staff, and the Men’s Selection Committee.
India’s Strong Performance
India played excellent cricket in the tournament. Under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy, the team remained unbeaten and won the title.
They began their campaign with a six-wicket victory against Bangladesh. They beat Pakistan by six wickets in the second match. India extended their winning streak with a 44-run win against New Zealand. In the semi-final, they beat Australia by four wickets. In the final, India beat New Zealand by four wickets to win their third Champions Trophy title.

BCCI President Roger Binny praised the players and support staff. He said, “Winning back-to-back ICC titles is special and this reward recognizes Team India’s dedication and excellence on the global stage. The cash award is a recognition of the hard work that everyone puts in behind the scenes. This was also our second ICC Trophy in 2025, following the ICC U19 Women’s World Cup triumph and it highlights the strong cricketing ecosystem in place in our country.”
BCCI Honorary Secretary Devajit Saikia also praised the team. He said, “The BCCI is proud to honour the players and support staff with this well-deserved reward. Their dominance in world cricket is a result of years of hard work and strategic execution. This victory has justified India’s top ranking in white-ball cricket. ”
