Mark Chapman misses T20I Century against Pakistan in 3rd T20I : Pakistan and New Zealand are locking horns for the 3rd T20I of Pakistan’s tour of New Zealand in Auckland. 

Haris Rauf’s Fiery Start & Chapman’s Near Century in 3rd T20I

Haris Rauf was at his fiery best in the first five overs of the 3rd T20I against New Zealand, putting the visitors under early pressure. He stunned Finn Allen with a brilliant catch and soon dismissed Tim Seifert, leaving New Zealand struggling. 

However, Mark Chapman and Daryl Mitchell led a strong recovery, steadying the innings with a crucial partnership. Chapman was particularly aggressive, taking on the Pakistani bowlers with ease. He seemed destined for a century but was dismissed for 94, falling just six runs short of the milestone.

‘I would like to use more methods than madness’ – Mark Chapman

Speaking in the mid-match, the Kiwi batter Mark Chapman reflected on his knock and missing a century. 

Mark Chapman said, “It was one of those where you can take a couple of balls to get going. I am not one of the biggest guys and I would like to use more methods than madness. We play them the most out of anyone, I am not the only one with a good record against Pakistan. We have had two really good bowling performances, 200 is a good total and we back our bowlers to defend it.”
