First Innings: Ellyse Perry fought a lone battle with the bat

Despite a resilient unbeaten 60 from Ellyse Perry, RCB-W’s batting faltered, particularly in the latter stages of the innings. Mandhana’s early dismissal to Shikha Pandey set the tone, and although Perry and Wyatt-Hodge added 44 runs for the second wicket, the team lost momentum after Wyatt-Hodge fell for 21 runs immediately after the timeout.

Raghvi Bist contributed a modest 33 runs but was fortunate to survive several close calls. The middle order failed to capitalize, with Richa Ghosh and Kanika Ahuja falling cheaply.

For DC-W, Shikha Pandey was the standout bowler, taking two wickets for 24 runs, while debutant Nallapureddy Charani claimed two wickets as well.

She was well-supported by Jess Jonassen, who contributed a quickfire 61 runs, helping DC-W reach their target with nearly five overs to spare.
