The 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League, or PSL, is set to begin from April 11 with defending champion Islamabad United facing Lahore Qalandars in Rawalpindi. The tournament will include a total of 34 matches played across four cities, with the final on May 18 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Ever since its launch in 2016, the PSL has emerged as one of the best T20 leagues in the world, drawing both domestic and foreign players.
PSL CEO Salman Naseer Opines on League’s Development
As the tournament is about to begin its 10th season, PSL Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer expressed his delight at the growth of the league and the competition it offers.

“We are excited to announce the schedule for the historic 10th edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League. In the last decade, the HBL PSL has evolved into a world-class tournament, featuring the best of Pakistan’s cricketing talent. The supporters of this year’s tournament will not only witness big-name international cricketers but also get to watch 34 high-intensity matches in four big cities – Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi,” Naseer said, according to Cricbuzz.
PSL 2025 Venues and Key Fixtures
Rawalpindi will be the hub for 11 matches, including the season opener and Qualifier on May 13. Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will witness the maximum action with 13 matches, including Eliminators (on May 14 and 16) and the eagerly awaited final. Karachi and Multan will have five games each.

PSL Brings Cricket to Peshawar
Salman Naseer also discussed the PSL’s attempts to reach out to various regions of Pakistan.
“As part of our commitment to expanding the reach of the HBL PSL, we are delighted to host an exhibition match in Peshawar before the start of the tournament, which is a significant step in bringing top-tier cricket to Peshawar, a city with a deep-rooted love for the game. We remain dedicated to enhancing the experience for players, fans, and stakeholders, who have witnessed some breathtaking contests in the league over the years,” Naseer further stated.
The PSL will also include an exhibition match in Peshawar on April 8, an additional new element to the tournament.
